Dieng located in 5 districts namely: Batang, Kendal, Waterford, Wonosobo and Bajarnegara. Medium astronomical location is at about 7.20 º south latitude and 109.92 º East longitude and at an altitude of ± 2.095m altitude dpa. Maybe that could be included in Google Earth Latitude: -7.20 and Longitude: +109.92. The name Dieng (supposedly) comes from the Indonesian language Ancient (before the Kawi language) or perhaps Sundanese Kuna and not Sanskrit, "In" and "Hyang" which means Abode of the Gods (The Gods Abode). From this Dieng area, Serayu River springs are located. Serayu River is a river that flows in the southern part of Central Java and empties in Cilacap. The source of this spring called Tuk Ben Lukar (Mata Ben-water Lukar). Ben Tuk Lukar than as a wellspring Serayu River reportedly also believed to create ageless. The temples in Dieng believed to be an early sign of Hindu civilization on the island of Java at the time of Sanjaya in the 8th century. This is indicated by a cluster of temples in Dieng who is said to worship the god-temples Syiwa.Candi include: Candi Arjuna, Temple Heroine, Puntadewa Temple, Temple Sembadra, Candi Gatot Kaca. As for naming the temples themselves believed started in the 19th century. This is indicated by the existing reliefs on the temple. For example, at Temple Heroine, painted reliefs which is precisely the depiction of the god form Syiwa.Candi-temple was built with the use of construction aggregates from Mount Pakuwaja in South Dieng temple complex. Dieng volcano is made up of parents who experienced a drastic decline (dislocations), by fracturing the northwest and southeast. The old volcano is Mount Prau. In part the sinkhole appeared small mountains are: Mt Alang, Mount nagasari, Mount Panglimunan, Mount Pangonan, Mount Gajahmungkur and Mount Pakuwaja. Some volcanoes are still active with distinct characteristics. Magma that arises is not too strong not like the Mount Merapi.
