Kipah Sikarang dance is a traditional dance of North Aceh, which shows the movement - the movement rytme hitting the Kipas with a unique and amazing. Kipas used in this dance is a special braided fan, made of arecapelepa consisting of 3 or 4 layers that give rise to a loud soundwith a variety of applause which varies according to the rhythm of movement and songs sung. Kipah dance contains a messages of religious and development and normally served during the birth of Prophet Muhammad and other Islamic holidays.
