Talempong Pacik Musical instrument

Talempong Pacik is a hand held gong-chimes, played in standing position and sometimes played in processions. Among the most beautiful, sacred and highly rated cultural instruments in minangkabau cultural.

Combined with drums, also sacred to form ritual talempong ensembles. Talempong pacik cultural instruments ussually consist of 6 gong-chimes which ma be played by 3 people holding 2 gong-chimes each. As part of cultural diversity from minangkabau, this cultural instrument must be conserved.
